Tied-on waist beads are tied directly onto the body and designed for continuous wear — they move with your body and can be worn while showering, sleeping, exercising, and going about your everyday activities. Screw clasp styles are removable, custom-measured, and made to order with a 4–6 week turnaround.

Yes. Walk-ins are welcome Thursday + Friday from 12 PM–6 PM. Appointments are also available Monday–Saturday for those who prefer a reserved time. Additional walk-in hours are announced on social media throughout the month.

If you’d like to change the fit of your waist beads, adjustments are available for waist beads originally applied by Akela Marie + Co. for an additional fee.

Your waist bead placement is personal to you. Where they sit is based on your preference, how you’d like them to look and feel, and what you want to use them for. During your fitting, we’ll choose your placement together before your waist beads are tied.

No. Our waist beads are non-stretch.

Because waist beads are worn continuously, strands can break over time due to normal wear, tension, or changes in fit. If you choose to give that moment meaning, you decide what it represents.
